A visit to the Mountain gorillas in Uganda is the trip highlight across East Africa as we take you to the giraffe center, elephant orphanage and Masai Mara Reserve presenting you an opportunity to experience wildlife that is both habituated and wild in Kenya. 


Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel by our representative and will be transferred to Masai Mara Game with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley for viewing. Masai Mara is one of East Africa’s most famous reserves. It consists of undulating hills and great rolling grasslands that sustain some of the most varied wildlife in Africa. You will arrive in time for lunch at Afternoon game viewing, where lion, elephant, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest, gazelle and other plains game abound, not forgetting the hundreds of species of birds.

Day 2: Full Day at Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will set out for game drives through the unique park which really forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park. Masai Mara supports the biggest population of cats besides other predators. You will spot elephants, lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Giraffe, Zebras and wildebeest. You will return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Nakuru National park with lunch in Narok town enroute. You will have a stopover at Lake Naivasha where you will enjoy an optional one hour boat ride through the lake. You will proceed to Lake National park arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight sta.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Uganda

After breakfast, you will enjoy a game drive in Nakuru national park. The park is famous for its millions of seasonal pink flamingos and other aquatic birds. You will enjoy the game drive and will spot rhinos, zebra, gazelle, buffalo, leopard and waterbucks. You will then be driven towards Uganda through Nakuru town and Eldoret. After crossing the border, you will be driven to Mbale for dinner for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer from Mbale to Jinja

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Jinja. We drive further into Uganda the second country of the Kenya & Uganda safari, our target being the city of Jinja. Fruit markets will decorate the day’s drive. In Jinja the Victoria Nile meets Lake Victoria and the source of the mighty Nile is found. In the afternoon you go for a boat-ride to see the source of the Nile.

Day 6: Transfer to Kibale National Park

Departure for Kibale Forest National Park after your morning breakfast driving south via Hoima.
You will enjoy the scenic features of tea plantations in Fort Portal. You will have a stopover in Fort Portal for Lunch enroute. Then you drive one more hour to the lodge after lunch.

Day 7: Full Day at Kibale National Park

After breakfast we visit Kibale Forest National Park. The Park boasts the highest number of primate species in the world, including the chimpanzees with approximately 5,000 chimpanzees living in the wild in Uganda. The park is most famous of its 13 species of primates is the Chimpanzee. It is also a home of species like the rare Host’s monkey, the black and white Colobus, Blue monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey and the Olive baboon among others. The walk takes 2-3 hours.
After lunch go for Bigodi swamp walk where you may see a variety of bird species and other smaller mammals.

Day 8: Transfer from Kibale national Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park in the morning where you’ll spot the ranges of Mt. Rwenzori enroute. You will embark on game drives in the park on arrival where you will spot some animals like Elephants, Buffaloes, bushbucks, and Uganda Kob, Antelopes, Warthogs, among others.
After lunch enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. It is a 42kms channel that joins Lake Edward and Lake George. The boat ride offers an excellent platform for photography along which you will encounter several hippos, crocodiles, elephants and over 500 bird species.

Day 9: Full Day at Queen Elizabeth National Park (shasha sector)

Have an early morning Game drive where you may have an opportunity to see the lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephant, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, topi and bushbuck among others.
In the afternoon you will be transferred to Ishasha sector in search of tree climbing lions.

Day 10: Transfer from Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Have another morning game drive through the park and thereafter proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest passing through the Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery of Kigezi terraced hills enroute.

Day 11: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National park

After breakfast, transfer to the park Headquarters in which you will be briefed about gorilla trekking. Bwindi National Park is renowned for its impressive mountain gorillas, although it is unpredictable for how long you will track before finding them since it all depends on their movement.

You will set out with a packed lunch and enough drinking water, and you are advised to wear strong comfortable boots plus a light rain-jacket since the weather in Bwindi Impenetrable forest is highly unpredictable.
You will be availed with Walking sticks by the park rangers. Visitors are allowed to spend only one hour with the gorillas for the purpose of conservation. The ranger guide will brief you on how to conduct yourself while in the presence of the gentle giants. In the evening, proceed to the village for a cultural walk to interact with the local people and participate in captivating traditional performances.

Day 12: Transfer to Entebbe by road (There is an option for internal flight transfer to Entebbe airport at an extra costs).

You will depart for Kampala after breakfast and have an opportunity to take pictures at the equator enroute. On arrival, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your departure.

Accommodation: No accommodation (End of tour) however, additional accommodation can be arranged for an extra cost to allow you relax as you wait for your flight.
